About
Our day tour itinerary takes you to 2 locations of where Crocodile Dundee 1 was filmed.
These locations are known in the movie as a natural spring or billabong (they aren’t, your guide will explain on tour) where Mick got caught shaving with a razor, but then made it look like he was shaving with his big knife, then we go to the Waterfall, where Mick and Sue have a feed of bush tucker (food) and a swim. The same spot where they had their first kiss.
Our first stop is a 2 hour drive south, through open woodland savanna, floodplains, then getting onto the 4x4 dirt track into the escarpment country. Here you will be able to swim down below the waterfall.
From this location we will have lunch, which includes roast chicken, potato and fresh garden salads, fruit juice, tea or coffee. Iced water is supplied to refill your water bottles.
After lunch we will head 1.5 hours north again to Warradjan, a great Aboriginal Culture Centre, where you can learn about the area and culture of the Kakadu Region. NO cameras are permitted in this building. There is a gallery that sells arts and crafts here. Duration 45 mins.
Then we head 30 mins north again to the billabong. Birdlife and Backdrops are amazing, so dont forget your camera.
Expecting drop-offs around 3pm in Jabiru
