Kakadu 4wd Tours
The meaning of Never Never …. The Never Never is the name of a vast, remote area of the Australian Outback
Father (Chizo) & Daughter (Jody) Team, that will keep you amused, safe & share their years of knowledge, of Kakadu NT. Tours only operate from April to Early October (the dry season). From October we will only run a Half Day Tour to Maguk Falls till the end of October, with a cool refreshing swim in the mornings.
Please book online for next season’s tours, to secure your seat, before it’s too late. The first that book a certain tour will have First Preference for where that day tour goes. Keep in mind it is very busy in June, July and August. We use 3 Toyota Prado's that carry 6 passengers in each. Private tours can be booked, if you like to keep to your own group, or you’ll be with others to fill a car.
Gunlom and Twin Falls are in the hands of Parks Australia, for when to be opened.

Thank you so much Jody for taking us on a trip to your ‘office’ and showing us your beautiful backyard. We had such a great day out despite the very hot weather and we enjoyed every minute of it. You kept us safe, well hydrated and informed and the drive to Maguk in your Toyota Prado couldn’t have been more fun (corrugations? bring it on! Haha ;-) ). The scenery at Maguk is simply breathtaking and we were lucky enough to have the place all to ourselves. Swimming in the crystal clear waters of Maguk beneath the waterfall is a memory we will treasure forever. Thank you so much Jody for being our guide to explore this Kakadu gem! We had a blast! If you are looking for an expertly guided tour to explore Kakadu National Park, do yourself a favor and book a tour with Never Never Safari Tours, I promise you will not regret it! We had such a great day and it felt like exploring the beautiful landscape with a best friend. The tour was so much better than expected and we made memories that will last forever. We would have also loved to explore Jim Jim falls with you but we were a little bit too late as Jim Jim was already closed for the season, but Maguk was the perfect choice for that hot day. Thanks so much for showing us your ‘office’ (Maguk). We will be back to explore Jim Jim falls with you hopefully next season. Many thanks! Really enjoyed our tour to Jim Jim falls - Jody kept us informed, hydrated, safe, well fed and in good humour throughout the trip despite very hot weather. Also made good recommendations for other things to see in the area. Many thanks! suzanne ryan2024-10-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Mum and I did an amazing Sunset tour of Ubirr - Jody took care of us like family which we truly appreciated. Fantastic tour which we will never forget. Simone2024-10-05Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Fantastic Maguk tour this morning with Jody, such a natural guide, possessing the true spirit of the outback. Later in the day the Ubirr Sunset tour was magic, amazing examples of indigenous rock art and a gorgeous sunset. Thank you Jody for going above and beyond in making it such a great and memorable experience. Davina Miller2024-09-30Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Chizo’s knowledge of the area was great to tap into and he looked after us really well throughout the day. Our 15 yr old said “this is the best thing I’ve done in my life”. Jim Jim Falls Gorge is a magical place to swim. Victor Scherini2024-09-26Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Highly recommend Chizo and his tour of Jim Jim Falls. Friendly and easy going with great knowledge of Kakadu. Lunch and snacks were tasty and perfect for the trip. The walk is challenging in parts but so worth getting there. rbsimmo2024-09-21Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We had booked the Maguk Tour with Never Never Safari Tours Online. We were promptly picked up at 07:00 from our accommodation by Jody. I could tell from the moment we got into the Toyota Prada this was going to be a fun trip. Jody has a bubbly and vibrant personality and we enjoyed her knowledge of the are and the stories she told on the way to Maguk. We were joined by another 2 ladies so there were only 4 of us on this trip plus Jody. The day started off a bit sad when a mother wallaby and her joey were killed on the road so Jody stopped the car and removed them both to the side of the road placing mums arm around the joeys which was such a moving moment for us all . It showed me the love she had for animals. After we all regrouped Jody was back at it story telling having us laughing again and we soon arrived at Maguk. The walk is very manageable but I was glad i had my hiking shoes on as you go over alot of rocks and little water ways. The scenery was magnificent and many opportunities to take breathtaking photos. Once we arrived i was in awe of this place. So tranquil and serene. The waterfall was flowing and there was only a couple of other people swimming so it was not over crowded at all. The water was much warmer than I thought it would be for a waterhole and i was the the only one that went swimming. I knew there was no crocodiles as the other people had been swimming a while so i bravely went in. Jody did assure me it was safe as the rangers inspect the waterholes prior to opening them up for swimming. Fresh fruit was supplied which was lovely and refreshing. We had a wonderful day and i can highly recommend Never Never Safari Tours. Was so worth it . Thanks Jody for a fun day.
