Jim jim gorge hike was a lot of rock scrambling and scaling which we really enjoyed and luckily when we were there (early July) the falls were still flowing. Recommend only for very agile people and not very young children. The reward at the end is a huge pool of deep water surrounded by a huge rock escarpment, the water a bit cool, especially under the falls but it was fabulous. The white sand beach was so interesting deep in the gorge. This tour is a must do for those without a 4wd (a must as last half hour in is on a small challenging track) and then we had a delicious picnic lunch back at the campground before heading home. Both guides were fabulous fun to spend the day with – Chizo and Jody.
