If I could give a 6/5 stars I would!
My partner and I booked a Ubirr Sunset 🌅 Tour with Never Never and were the only booked for that evening so we were very lucky to have Jody as our own private guide. She is a very vibrant person and guide with great sense of humour, and to top it all, she has really good photography skills! (She even took candid pictures of us without the need to ask!). The sunset was breathtaking and Jody recommended us the best spot to admire the scenery and also shared some fun stories along the way; you are guaranteed to be entertained if you have her as your guide and driver! The next morning, we also had booked a tour with Never Never Safari Tours, this time to Jim Jim Fall. The group was bigger this time and we had Chizo (the father) as our driver and guide. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and animals 🐊 around Kakadu and happily answered any of random questions with some humour. The 4WW drive was an enjoyable and stress less experience being in the professional hands of our guides. The walk to the gorge was a bit strenuous but well worth it; the view upon arriving is spectacular and better than on pictures. Never Never Tour had everything planned upon arriving and knew what time to get there to avoid the heat and groups of tourists from spoiling the view, but also knew where to sit to have the best spots in the shade and also made sure to keep the vicious crows 🐦⬛ away from our belongings when we went to venture in the pools. I was lucky to receive a special treatment on that tour as my partner had mentioned to Jody the day before it was my birthday, and even with such a short notice, she went out of her way to provide a birthday cake after the lunch. We will definitely travel again with Never Never Safari and trial their other tours next time we are in Kakadu.
