Gee Lexard Review

JP and I took the Ubirr sunset tour last night 14/9/2024. I sat in the front with Chizo our guide and driver. I rarely give 5 star reviews but this tour was deserving on this night. Chizo picked us up in his well used but trusty 4x4, there was another couple so we felt privileged to be part of a small group. Chizo spoke about various points of interest along the way and answered all our questions. A genuinely nice guy. We stopped at Cahills crossing but the tide was out so not much croc activity. Ubirr on the other hand was spectacular at sunset. On the way up to the viewing plateau we stopped briefly at various Rock art spots. The highlight was the scenery and sunset over the floodplains, just magic. The colour in my photos is poor compared to the actual colours which were vibrant and intense.<br /> Good to know: even though it's quite possible to do this with your own vehicle, after sunset the road is dark and driving can be hazardous from various animal activities so we chose a tour instead. Highly recommend Chizo and his tours.
